How credits work
Credits are the unit of AI usage — how they are charged and refunded
Credits are the unit Spexsure uses to measure AI usage. Each operation costs a fixed number of credits. Credits are deducted when an operation starts. If an operation fails before the AI is called, credits are refunded automatically.
Credit costs per operation
- Gap analysis: 10 credits
- PRD enrichment: 5 credits
- Ticket generation pass 1 (epics): 8 credits
- Ticket generation pass 2 (per epic): 3 credits
Credit warnings
At 80% credit usage you receive a warning email. At 95% you receive a second warning. At 100%, AI operations are blocked until credits reset or you purchase a refill.
Monthly reset
Credits reset on your billing anniversary. Unused credits roll over up to the plan's rollover cap — they are not lost at the end of the period.
