Understanding credits
What credits are, how they are consumed, and how to check your balance
Credits are the unit Spexsure uses to measure AI operation usage. Each AI-powered step of the workflow costs a fixed number of credits based on the operation type, not the size of your PRD.
Credit cost per operation
- Gap analysis: 10 credits
- PRD enrichment: 5 credits
- Ticket generation pass 1 (epic list): 8 credits
- Ticket generation pass 2 (per epic): 3 credits per epic
Checking your balance
Your current credit balance is always visible in the left sidebar as a progress bar. Click Settings → Billing to see a detailed breakdown of credit usage by operation type and date.
What happens when you run out
If you do not have enough credits to start an operation, the relevant button is disabled with an explanation. You can purchase a refill pack from Settings → Billing or upgrade to a higher plan.
Credits are deducted when an operation starts, not when it completes. If an operation fails before calling the AI, credits are automatically refunded to your balance.
