How gap analysis works
What happens when you click Analyse and how long it takes
When you click Analyse, Spexsure sends your PRD to Claude (Anthropic's AI model) for structured gap detection. The AI evaluates the PRD across 12 categories, looking for missing, ambiguous, or under-specified requirements.
What the analysis produces
The output is a structured gap report containing: a completeness score (0–100), a score breakdown by category, and a list of specific gaps. Each gap includes a finding description, a severity rating (Critical, High, or Medium), and the category it belongs to.
How long it takes
Gap analysis typically completes in 30–90 seconds depending on PRD length. The wait screen cycles through the 12 categories as it runs and shows an estimated time remaining based on historical data for similar PRD sizes.
Credit cost
Gap analysis costs 10 credits. Credits are deducted when the analysis starts. If analysis fails before the AI is called, credits are refunded automatically.
