Switching plans
How to switch between Standard plans or between Standard and BYOK
Existing paid subscribers switch plans using the Switch Plan section in Settings → Billing. Switching updates your existing Stripe subscription in place — it never creates a second subscription.
Billing on switch
When you switch plans, the billing cycle resets to today and you start paying the new plan price. No proration is applied.
Credits on switch
- Standard → Standard: unused credits carry forward to the new plan
- Standard → BYOK: unused credits are forfeited (BYOK has unlimited credits)
- BYOK → Standard: you start fresh at the new Standard plan's credit count
- BYOK → BYOK: you start fresh at unlimited
Switching from a Standard plan to BYOK when you have unused credits will forfeit those credits permanently. A confirmation dialog is shown before you can proceed.
