Enabling MFA

Spexsure uses TOTP (time-based one-time password) MFA, compatible with Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, Microsoft Authenticator, Bitwarden, and any standard TOTP app.

Setup steps

1. Go to Settings → Security.
2. Click Set up two-factor authentication.
3. Open your authenticator app.
4. Scan the QR code, or tap Add manually and enter the secret key shown on screen.
5. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app into the Confirm code field.
6. Click Verify and enable.
7. Copy your backup codes and store them in a secure location.

After enabling

On future sign-ins, after Google or Microsoft authentication you will be prompted to enter your 6-digit TOTP code. The code changes every 30 seconds.
