Editing acceptance criteria

Each story's acceptance criteria (AC) is shown as a block below the story description. It has its own Edit / Save / Discard controls, independent of the story title and description.

How to edit

Click Edit on the AC block. A text area opens with the current criteria. Edit freely — add, remove, or rewrite. Click Save to persist or Discard to cancel.

Format

The AI generates acceptance criteria as a numbered list. You can maintain this format or rewrite as bullet points, scenarios, or any format your team uses. Jira accepts rich text in description fields.
