What is BYOK?
Bring Your Own Key — use your Anthropic API key instead of Spexsure credits
BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) is an option for teams with an existing Anthropic API account who want to use Spexsure's workflow without a credit limit. On a BYOK plan, all AI calls use your own Anthropic API key — you pay Anthropic directly, and Spexsure charges a flat plan fee for the workflow.
Who it is for
- Teams running many PRDs per month who would exceed Standard plan credit limits
- Enterprises with existing Anthropic API contracts or negotiated pricing
- Teams who need unlimited PRD processing without per-credit tracking
How key storage works
Your Anthropic API key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage and decrypted only at the moment an AI call is made on your behalf. The key is never logged, transmitted in plaintext, or used for any purpose other than processing your requests. Full details at heuristicworks.com/trust.html.
