Completeness score

How the 0–100 score is calculated and what score ranges mean

The completeness score (0–100) is Spexsure's overall assessment of how well the PRD covers the 12 analysis categories. It is shown at the top of the gap report and in the project card on your dashboard.

Score ranges

  • 80–100 — strong PRD with few or no critical gaps. Safe to proceed to enrichment.
  • 60–79 — moderate PRD. Address Critical and High severity gaps before enrichment for best results.
  • 40–59 — weak PRD. Significant gaps will produce lower-quality ticket output if not addressed.
  • Below 40 — incomplete PRD. Enrichment is not recommended until major gaps are resolved.

What the score measures

The score reflects how complete and unambiguous the PRD is as input for engineering work — not the quality of the product idea itself. A higher-score PRD will produce more accurate, actionable tickets.

The score is advisory, not a gate. You can proceed to enrichment at any score. Lower-scoring PRDs produce lower-quality ticket output.
